Mike
has been with the company since 2005 serving
as Community Manager, Community Supervisor,
and Vice President. His current
responsibilities include overseeing the
day-to-day operations of Cowgill’s corporate
business as well as the Community Managers.
He is also responsible for risk management,
capital improvements, budgeting and
financing, human resources, and client
communication. Mike earned a BBA from the
University of Kentucky in the areas of
Finance and Management. He also holds a CAM
certification and is currently pursuing his
real estate license.
From 1996-2005,
Mike worked in the investment business for
Smith Barney and BB&T Investment Services.
During his tenure there he gained a working
knowledge of the financial markets and
understanding of economic conditions.
Prior to his career in the investment
world, Mike played professional baseball
with the Milwaukee Brewers where he worked
his way up to the AAA level.
